TAOS

New Mexico holds a special place in our hearts. We've fallen in the love with the land of enchantment and find ourselves returning here time and time again. Our little roost, Casa Gallina, sits between the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the wide expanse of the sage-spotted mesa. A beautiful cold water stream runs through the property, with apple orchards and flower gardens peppered around the property. Each year, it has remained the perfect nest to journey inward together and explore the home of our hearts. This retreat was built around a progressive experience of the chakras through daily yoga, meditation, meals, interactive workshops and adventures. Our mornings began with tea and sunrise meditation, followed by an invigorating alignment-focused yoga practice. After breakfast, we gathered for our experiential workshops, diving into the spirit of Ayurveda and self-care, and exploring wild-crafting flower essences with local plants. In the evenings, we'd gather together under the apple orchard for beautiful sunset dinners outdoors, and concluding our days with restorative yoga and a yoga nidra practice. Our adventures took us from Ojo Caliente's mineral springs to hikes in amongst the aspens in the Taos Ski Valley.
