CANCELLATION POLICY
All deposits are 100% non-refundable. You may cancel your reservation up to 90 days before the retreat and receive a full refund of the amount paid, less the retreat deposit. There will be no refunds thereafter for any reason. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your personal security. In the event that the retreat has to cancel due to a force majeure, we will reschedule the retreat and your payments will be applied toward the new retreat date.

Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy stated will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for unforseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, positive COVID tests, etc), but we have already incurred nonrefundable costs when reserving hotel rooms and making retreat arrangements. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in case your plans change, but to protect yourself further, we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance.

PERSONAL PROPERTY
Baggage and personal effects are at all times your personal responsibility.  Each room has a safe for your valuables; however we discourage you from bringing expensive jewelry and electronics on the retreat.

ITINERARY CHANGES
While every effort will be made to carry out the retreat as planned, the nature of international travel is unpredictable and we must be prepared for changes. The itinerary as described is subject to modification. Rest assured that, should any changes be needed, we are committed to delivering an experience as outstanding as the one originally planned.
 

DECLARATION OF HEALTH
By accepting this Retreat Participant Agreement I (the trip participant) represent that I have no physical conditions or medical precautions which would adversely affect my ability to take part in the yoga program or other physical or cultural activities offered on VIDYA, LLC trips. I fully understand that my participation in the retreat program or other activities could be injurious to my health and I voluntarily assume all risks related to such activities.

PERSONAL RELEASE
By agreeing to the terms outlined here and elsewhere on the Vidya Living Retreats website I hereby release and discharge my rights and claims for damages or liabilities that may occur as a result of participation on a VIDYA, LLC trip, including but not limited to damages as a result of unexpected occurrences including those from weather, local political situations, wildlife or uncontrollable acts of God, including the risk of death. I release VIDYA, LLC including its owners, directors, employees, guides, yoga teachers and partners from liability for personal injury, illness, emotional damage, incurred travel expenses or property damage I may incur as a result of participation on this trip.

For the benefit of everyone on your trip, VIDYA, LLC reserves the right to accept or reject any participant at any time without liability, and in the event it determines, in its sole and exclusive discretion, that a participant is disruptive to the harmony of the trip, it may without any obligation to pay a refund or any other amount whatsoever, expel such participant from the trip. VIDYA, LLC will carry no responsibility or liability for any participant who leaves the trip prior to its conclusion or for any activity undertaken by any participant which is not included on the trip itinerary.
